Big Data

We have built advanced expertise in Big Data applied to mobility, with the support of a solid network of technical and commercial partnerships that gives us access to diverse and constantly updated sources. We specialise in Floating Car Data and mobile phone data, which we are able to integrate with additional traditional and innovative data sources in order to obtain more comprehensive and robust analyses. We then apply advanced algorithms that increase the accuracy of the reconstructions while maintaining consistent results over time.

In particular, by integrating sources, we reconstruct Origin–Destination matrices and accurately describe the mobility behaviours of different user categories. Thanks to these processes, we are able to credibly analyse complex phenomena and interventions, including Park&Ride, car park occupancy rates, catchment areas, travel regularity and network speed during peak hours. This allows organisations and institutions to better understand the evolution of demand and, consequently, to set up more effective operational strategies.

To ensure transparency and replicability, we design our processing procedures using stable and verifiable methods and continuously refine our methodologies to improve accuracy. We integrate territorial data into every analysis in order to identify critical issues and opportunities with greater precision, and we provide tailored operational guidance to support the definition of intervention priorities and the planning of targeted public policies.

Data Visualization

Data visualisation is key to communicating analytical results clearly. For this reason, we transform complex datasets into intuitive and immediately readable representations. We create thematic maps, interactive dashboards and summary indicators to facilitate a clearer and more immediate understanding of mobility phenomena, accessible even to a ‘non-technical’ audience and users. In this way, we ensure a more widespread ability to read and interpret data while maintaining a high level of rigour and accuracy.

The solutions developed make it possible to analyse flows, speeds, congestion, travel times, accessibility levels, safety and many other aspects related to the mobility of people and goods, facilitating comparisons between alternative scenarios and making decisions on mobility planning, urban design and monitoring more informed.
