Mobility Planning and Integrated Approach
We make mobility planning an integrated process by combining technical analysis, traffic models, and data-driven tools. This allows us to effectively support Municipalities and Metropolitan Cities in strategic medium and long-term decisions. We operate on various territorial scales, from the national level to the urban context, with the aim of building safer, more sustainable, and efficient mobility systems for everyone.
Strategic Mobility Plans and Sector Documents
We collaborate with local administrations and Metropolitan Cities for the drafting of SUMPs and the main Sector Plans, such as public transport service programming and the development of Bicycle plans. Activities include context analysis, definition of intervention scenarios, construction of monitoring indicators, and integration with territorial policies. Each plan is aimed at improving travel quality, increasing accessibility, and promoting active mobility and public transport.
Road Safety and Accident Analysis
Safety is a central element of planning. We conduct accident analyses using Road Safety Audit (RSA) and Road Safety Inspection (RSI) methodologies, develop Road Safety Plans (RSP), and support the definition of Detailed Urban Traffic Plans (DUTP). Activities include critical point analysis, risk assessments, awareness campaigns, and operational proposals aimed at reducing accidents and improving safety for all road users.
Cost-Benefit Analysis and PFTE Design
We support public administrations in evaluating interventions through cost-benefit analysis and in preparing technical-economic feasibility studies (PFTE). Activities include transport analyses, demand estimates, impact assessments, and drafting of necessary documents for submitting funding applications to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The goal is to provide rigorous technical support for the selection and programming of investments.
Traffic, Traffic Impact Studies, and Demand Models
We evaluate traffic through impact studies for urban projects, new commercial openings, and infrastructure interventions. Analyses include flow modeling, network simulations, and technical-functional studies aimed at assessing capacity, network performance, and the effects generated by territorial transformations. This allows us to define operational solutions that ensure fluidity, safety, and balance between private, public, and active mobility.
Interchange Nodes and Traffic Light Optimization
We design interchange nodes to encourage the use of collective transport and promote urban regeneration processes. We use pedestrian and vehicular models to simulate user behavior, designing functional, safe, and accessible spaces. Additionally, we develop traffic light optimization solutions for isolated systems or signalized corridors, aiming to reduce user delays, improve travel quality, and ensure high road safety standards.
